It was my very first painting of my first cat, Rudy, She died in old age in my couch. I was there. She fell in sleep forever peacefully. I cried a lot.

"Most of my work is inspired by the world that I experience all around me. When I take a walk around my neighborhood, I see so many beautiful expressions of nature, such as trees, flowers, weeds, insects, and more. A drive through the California Bay Area reveals many different shapes and colors in the environment. Each season has its own unique beauty. Although I grew up in a faraway country, without many modern conveniences, I always felt blessed by nature's overflowing beauty. I still always find beauty everywhere I go, and I try to express this in my art.
